Who All Can Apply ? – Eligibility

If you wanna apply for the bursaries you must meet all the below mentioned requirements :

  • You Should be a South African citizen
  • You Should have completed Matric
  • You Should be studying full-time towards a degree in one of the listed fields
  • You Should be entering 2nd, 3rd, or Honours year of study in 2026
  • You Should be registered at one of these South African universities:
    • University of Pretoria (UP)
    • University of Johannesburg (UJ)
    • University of the Witwatersrand (Wits)
    • University of Cape Town (UCT)
    • University of Limpopo (UL)
    • University of KwaZulu-Natal (UKZN)
    • University of the Free State (UFS)
    • University of Fort Hare (UFH)
    • Nelson Mandela University (NMU)
    • North-West University (NWU)
  • You Should have achieved a minimum overall average of 70%
  • You Should have a total household income not exceeding R650 000 per annum
  • You Should be from a previously disadvantaged background
