Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for the SG Coal Apprenticeship Programme, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Applicant must be between 18 and 35 years old
- Applicant must have completed Grade 9 (with at least 50% in Mathematics and Science)
or hold an NQF Level 1 qualification with 50% in Mathematics and Science - Applicant must be unemployed and available for the full duration of the apprenticeship
- Applicant must be willing to undergo theoretical, practical, and workplace-based training
- Persons with disabilities are strongly encouraged to apply
