How Are Elligible

- To apply you need to be from South Africa and have a current ID document.
- This program is focused on aiding individuals who are currently unemployed.
- You should be 18 to 55 years old.
- To join you need to finish Grade 10.
- You cannot join more than one training program at once. This includes both learnerships and skills development courses.
- Different training programs are designed for specific groups. You can find classes made for children women and people with disabilities. Each program has its own special focus and teaching methods.
- You need to show up for training and prove that you are committed to the work.
Application Filling Procedure
You can follow these simple steps for filling the application.
- Applications will formally commence in 2025; notifications are normally announced on the radio, employment websites, posters in your neighborhood, or through SETA offices.
- Choose the program you’re most interested in, such as agriculture, construction, administration, or ICT.
- Fill in the application form—occasionally it’s online, but usually you’ll collect it from a local center or print it.
- Attach all of your certified documentation.
- Submit your whole application by September 30, 2025; do not wait until the last minute.
- After submitting, you wait for feedback; if you’re shortlisted, you may be summoned to an interview or assessment.
- Some programs need you to write a basic exam or come in for a screening interview.
- If you’re chosen, you’ll learn when and where your training will begin.
- Arrive on time, every time. These courses have severe attendance requirements.
- You will begin with some classroom or theoretical classes, learning about the field you’ve selected.
- After that, you’ll undergo practical training, which is genuine job experience under supervision.
- During the program, you may get a monthly stipend to cover basic transportation and food (the amounts vary).
- After finishing the training, you will receive a certificate, which is a recognized document that indicates you have finished the learnership or course.
- This qualification may now be used to apply for jobs and internships and even to establish your own small business.
